Pets are wonderful things. For most of us, they become a member of our family, an indispensable one. Especially, the dogs have long been considered as “Man’s best friend.”  If you are a pet owner you should already know, it takes time to housetrain them. No matter it is your dog or your cat, there are accidents you can't avoid sometimes.

These accidents might leave permanent urinate odor if you can't take care of the way it is supposed to. You can work on your way in your house - follow this basic instructions to clean urine out of your carpet;

• Blot damp areas as soon as the urine is detected, with plain white paper toweling.
• Apply a solution of 1/4 teaspoon of a liquid dishwashing detergent (non-bleach) with one cup of warm water. Do not use automatic dishwashing detergent or laundry detergent.
• Absorb the moisture with paper towel, rinse with warm water and repeat the application of detergent.
• Continue rinsing and blotting with the detergent solution and water.
• Follow the detergent application with a solution of two tablespoons of ammonia with one cup of water. Rinse with warm water and repeat.
• Blot dry.
• Blot the area with a solution of one cup white vinegar to two cups water, and blot dry.
• Apply a half-inch layer of paper towels to the affected area, and weigh down with a flat, heavy, non-fading object.
• Continue to change paper towels until completely dry.

You want to be sure that you get the smell out of your carpet completely, otherwise you might find that your dog will urinate in that spot again.
