Marble is a natural stone and a classic choice for most of us.
Marble is relatively soft when compared to other stones like
granite. It will
will stain as well as scratch.
This stone is very
sensitive to acidic chemicals such as; lemon, tomato juice,
coffee, fruit juices, wine, and vinegar.
Any of these
exposure will leave dull spots on your marble.
Dust mopping/Vacuum Cleaning and Wet Mopping could be considered
the most important maintenance procedure for your marble floors.
Dust mopping/Vacuum Cleaning should be done several times a day
to 3-5 times a week depending on the size of traffic
at the location. Wet Mopping- usually good for larger areas, it should
be done 3-5 times a week to keep your tiles clean.
Vacuum Cleaning is one of the
easiest method to clean your marble, before you use your vacuum
cleaner make sure the wheels are not metal. Metal wheel can
scratch the surface and leave rust stains.
